Ok, so the deal is I decided not to make the original crust for the crostatas, and instead wanted to make the 3, 2, 1 crust, which my mom taught me since I was 0 years old, and I love more than any crust EVER. So I made it, and shaped different sizes (round (tart like), triangle, square), put strawberries and bananas in the centers, with the sugar as the recipe commands, but they didn't turn out as well. I'd never made that crust in that way, so some of the little triangles (most of them) didn't stick together, some of the fruit juices and sugar dripped down on the pan and they didn't look pretty. Don't get me wrong, they were absolutely delicious, but didn't look as good as they should, so I made a new batch las night with similar results (hence the pre baking picture). I'm gonna try to make them in a cupcake pan, although I know they won't be as fast to prepare as they're supposed to, but I think it's worth it.
I'm in love with these, I swear I really am...
